Place your brand inside the room at Avestix Frontier's annual gathering in Grand Cayman.
Reach the room at
the Frontier Year's annual retreat.
The Flagship Retreat is a working event, not a trade show: three days on Seven Mile Beach, built around family offices and UHNW principals. Every principal in the room is a member or a member's invited guest—curated, guarded, with personal data protected. A self-selecting community, not a mailing list.
250 principals, drawn from family offices, next-gen heirs, women inheriting wealth, corporate sponsors and expert facilitators — the full profile breakdown publishes once registration opens. As the centerpiece event of the Frontier Year, the Retreat is the one room this community assembles in full, once a year.

The women's circle, at the Retreat.
Matriarch-led and innovation-driven, Avestix is positioned to support, empower and champion women-led and next-generation wealth — routinely overlooked in traditional family office programming. The Women & Inheritance pillar runs as its own track inside the Legacy, Next-Gen & the Gala day. One track partner, plus one brand per service category, each held exclusively for the Retreat.
Fortuna Service Categories

Spa, aesthetic and wellness services are subject to venue and provider availability.
- Session 1: "When Wealth Comes Suddenly: Divorce, Death, or Exit — Navigating the First 12 Months." Firedown conversation, 90 min. Women inheriting wealth face unique challenges in the first 12 months: advisor teams who don't listen, family dynamics that shift overnight, mental health stigma, and the "Am I qualified?" syndrome. This session creates a safe space to share real experiences and build peer support networks.
- Session 2: "Building Your Advisor Team: Lawyers, Therapists, Family Office CIOs Who Get It." Panel + speed networking, 90 min. Women need advisor teams who understand sudden wealth, gender dynamics, and mental health. This session brings together vetted lawyers, therapists, and family office CIOs who specialize in women's wealth — followed by speed networking to build relationships.
- Session 3: "Philanthropy as Power: Using Wealth to Drive Change Without Burning Out." Strategy session, 90 min. Women inheriting wealth often turn to philanthropy as a way to create meaning and impact, but burnout is real. This session explores how to use wealth strategically for social change — without sacrificing personal well-being or family harmony.
- Session 4: "The Avestix Fortuna Circle." Closed-door peer circle, 60 min. The Fortuna Circle is an ongoing peer support network for women inheriting wealth. This session introduces the circle, shares success stories, and invites participants to join the monthly virtual meetings (15–20 women, facilitated by a therapist and an investment coach).
The society behind the collection.
Passion assets that pass down — valuation and provenance, how a collection is held, which heirs actually want it, and gifting as philanthropy. The Art & Collectables pillar runs inside the Legacy, Next-Gen & the Gala day.
- Session 1: "Valuation & Provenance: What Your Collection Is Really Worth." Expert panel + Q&A, 90 min. Art and collectables are often the largest non-financial assets in a family office portfolio, yet most families have no idea what they're worth or where they came from. This session covers how to get a defensible valuation, why provenance matters, red flags in valuations, and when to insure, sell, or donate.
- Session 2: "Holding Structures: LLCs, Trusts, and Private Museums." Working session, 90 min. How you hold a collection determines tax treatment, liability exposure, and succession options. This session explores LLCs vs. trusts vs. private museums, Cayman vs. Delaware vs. offshore structures, insurance and liability protection, and private museum structures.
- Session 3: "Succession of a Collection: Which Heirs Actually Want It?" Firedown conversation, 90 min. The hardest question in collection succession: do the heirs actually want it? This session covers how to assess heir interest, what to do when heirs don't want it, how to divide collections fairly, and case studies of families who navigated collection succession — successfully and otherwise.
- Session 4: "Gifting & Donation: Philanthropy Through Art." Strategy session, 90 min. Gifting art and collectables to museums, universities, or charities can be a powerful philanthropic tool, but the tax and legal complexities are real. This session covers charitable remainder and lead trusts, fractional gifting, museum donation agreements, and the available tax benefits.
Bring your own team into the room.
If you sponsor a Retreat tier, including as a Corporate Sponsor, your team attends on the seats and delegate passes your tier lists. Once your sponsorship is confirmed, the partnerships team collects your delegates’ names.
The Fortuna and Art & Collectables track partnerships and the Fortuna service categories above don’t include places, except Wealth & Inheritance, which includes a seat in the Women & Inheritance track. Ask the partnerships team at sponsorships@avestix.com. For Wealth & Inheritance, the partnerships team will ask for the attendee’s name once confirmed.
